The Library Board of Trustees reviewed this request in an open, virtual ZOOM meeting at their February 28, 2023 regular meeting and directed staff, via consensus, to forward a recommendation to City Council to name the third floor Library Wing in the New Main Library in honor of Jackie Speier. City Council is responsible for final approval of the proposed name.
