Body
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Healthpeak Life Science Properties, Inc. is a diversified real estate investment trust (REIT) that owns and develops healthcare real estate for Life Science, Medical Office, and CCRC tenants. They have a history of being a generous benefactor to the City of South San Francisco ("City") through their continued support of City staff during the holiday season. Healthpeak has previously given meals for City staff and did so again for the 2022 holiday season by providing all departments of City staff with meals from Foundry & Lux in Oyster Point.

The City of South San Francisco has over 500 full-time employees, spread throughout the many departments, including Police, Fire, Parks and Recreation, Library, City Manager, City Clerk, City Attorney, Public Works, IT, Human Resources, Finance, and Economic and Community Development. Workers from any department in the City were eligible to receive a meal from Foundry & Lux.

City staff appreciated having these lunches delivered to the Public Works Corporation Yard for departmental pickup on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 and for the demonstrated generosity in closing off Foundry & Lux at Oyster Point Cove during the lunch hour on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 for City employees to enjoy a free lunch onsite.
