Resolution approving the City of South San Francisco’s Fiscal Year 2019-2020 One Year Action Plan (Action Plan); authorizing submittal of the Action Plan and all other required documents to the U.S. Department Of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); authorizing a budget transfer to incorporate the CDBG and HOME administrative funds into the 2019-2020 operating budget; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents and certifications necessary to secure and award CDBG and HOME administrative funds for the City

WHEREAS, staff recommends approval and submittal, as presented to the City Council at its April 24, 2019 meeting, of the City’s Fiscal Year 2019-2020 One Year Action Plan and all other required documents to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council authorize a budget transfer to incorporate Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) and HOME Administrative Funds into the 2019-2020 operating budget; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute all documents and certifications necessary to secure and award CDBG and HOME Administrative Funds for the City; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby:
1. Approves the City’s 2019-2020 One Year Action Plan, attached to this Resolution as Exhibit A.
2. Authorizes submittal of the City’s 2019-2020 One Year Action Plan and all other required documents to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
3. Authorizes a budget transfer to incorporate the CDBG and HOME Administrative Funds into the 2019-2020 operating budget.
4. Authorizes the City Manager to execute all documents necessary to secure and award CDBG and HOME Administrative Funds for the City consistent with the direction provided by the City Council.
