Staff recommends that the City Council waive a second reading and adopt an ordinance amending Title 14, Chapter 14.14, Section 14.14.190 to add subsection (d) Inspection and Correction of Sewer Laterals upon Transfer of Title Due to a Sale, to the South San Francisco Municipal Code relating to sewer lateral construction, maintenance and inspection.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
On March 09, 2022, City Council introduced an ordinance amending Title 14, Chapter 14.14, Section 14.14.190 to add subsection (d), “Inspection and Correction of Sewer Laterals upon Transfer of Title Due to a Sale”, to the South San Francisco Municipal Code relating to sewer lateral construction, maintenance and inspection.
The City Council voted to introduce this ordinance which now requires a second reading.
