Recommendation
It is recommended that the Youth Commission be apprised of the STEMsters Program at the South San Francisco Public Library.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The STEMsters program at the South San Francisco Public Library is an opportunity for youth ages 6+ to participate in educational STEM activities. The program is a collaboration between the South San Francisco Public Library, the Youth Commission, and STEMsters, a non-profit run by high-school students dedicated to inspiring and educating kids in STEM through engaging and fun activities. Below is the summer programming lineup, scheduled 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the 2nd floor Community room of the South San Francisco Library:

Commissioner Lee will provide updates on the program to the Youth Commission.
