Resolution approving and authorizing the City Manager to execute a Third Amendment to the Consulting Services Agreements with Gothic Landscaping for Common Greens landscape maintenance services in an amount not to exceed $413,014.98 ($393,014.98 contract amount plus $20,000 contingency) for an additional and final twelve-month term beginning July 1, 2025.

WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco ("City") issued a Request for Proposals for Landscape Maintenance Services on March 1, 2021; and
WHEREAS, the City awarded a consulting services/landscape services agreement to Gothic Landscaping of San Jose, California for the Common Greens Landscape Maintenance Services Project in a total amount not to exceed $792,416 for a twenty-four-month term based on their average overall proposal score, which included evaluation of project costs, project understanding, project completion schedule, qualifications, and experience; and
WHEREAS, the initial term of that agreement ended on June 30, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the first amendment to the agreement ended on June 30, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the second amendment to the agreement ends on June 30, 2025; and
WHEREAS, staff has favorably reviewed the performance of the contractor; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the project scope and negotiated a one and a half percent increase in the existing contract, which is an annual increase of $5,808.10; and
WHEREAS, additional costs for the added scope of work will be funded by existing funds within the Parks and Recreation Department budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco hereby approves a Third Amendment to the Consulting Services/landscape services Agreement with Gothic Landscaping of San Jose, California, in a total amount not to exceed $393,014.98 plus $20,000 contingency (for a new total not-to-exceed contract amount of $1,975,805.24) for an additional and final twelve month term, for the Common Greens Landscape Mai...
