RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

It is recommended commissioners listen to a presentation from a LifeMoves representative to understand the work that is being done by this organization to assist the unhoused population in South San Francisco. 

 

Body

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

According to Cause IQ, LifeMoves is a the largest not-for-profit organization in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties working to ending the homeless crisis within these respective counties.

                     Their mission is, “End homelessness by providing interim housing, support services, and collaborative partnerships”.

                     Their vision is, “We envision thriving communities where every neighbor has a home”.

                     Their values include:

o                     Client-centered

o                     Collaboration

o                     Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging

o                     Integrity

o                     Respect

Commissioners will listen to a presentation and have the opportunity to ask questions at its conclusion.

 

CONCLUSION

Commissioners will listen to a presentation from a LifeMoves representative to understand the work that is being done by this organization to assist the unhoused population in South San Francisco.
