Recommendation
Staff recommends that the City Council receive a report regarding a resolution approving an agreement with Ross Recreation Equipment, Incorporated of Santa Rosa, CA for the purchase, construction, and installation of park amenities for the Dundee Park Remodel in an amount not to exceed $692,393 and approving Budget Amendment Number 26.021.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Dundee Park is an approximately 1/4 pocket park in the West Winston Manor neighborhood. The park has been well used for decades and is in dire need of repair and equipment replacement. Following advocacy by Councilmember Coleman to include funding in the FY2023-24 CIP Budget, staff from Parks and Recreation and Capital Projects have collaborated with the West Winston Manor community to develop a plan to remodel Dundee Park.

Over the past year, staff developed a plan to make some key improvements to Dundee Park, including:
? Complete replacement of all play equipment
? Improved pathways to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements and create a more inclusive park
? Leveling and resurfacing the sport court to make it more usable for both basketball and tricycles/scooters.
? Addition of a small picnic area
? Overall park landscape improvements

Staff hosted two community meetings, in October 2024 and April 2025, and publicized an online survey to collect feedback on the proposed plan in April and May 2025. Staff also presented twice at Parks and Recreation Commission and integrated feedback from the Commission into the project. In all, staff reached approximately 100 residents and park users...
