RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

It is recommended that the City Council adopt an Ordinance amending Chapter 8.67 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code revising the method of calculation for the Parkland Acquisition Fee and the Parks Construction Fee and expanding application of the fees to non-residential developments to mitigate the impacts of new developments on park and recreational facilities in the City.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

The City Council previously waived reading and introduced the following Ordinance:

 

An Ordinance amending Chapter 8.67 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code revising the method of calculation for the Parkland Acquisition Fee and the Parks Construction Fee and expanding application of the fees to non-residential developments to mitigate the impacts of new developments on park and recreational facilities in the City.

The Ordinance is now ready for adoption.
