Recommendation
It is recommended that the Parks and Recreation Commission be apprised of the 2026 Calendar of Events.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The Parks and Recreation Department holds many special events, both large and small, throughout the year. Many of these events require months of planning and coordination. The Department’s 2026 Calendar of Events is available in Attachment 1. Staff will update the Commission as events are added and as dates that are currently listed as “TBA” are confirmed. Note that all dates are subject to change, or events may be postponed or cancelled due to inclement weather.
CONCLUSION
Staff are looking forward to another successful year of special events in 2026. Staff welcomes discussion and feedback from the Commission.
