Resolution rescinding Resolution No. 28-2026 and approving a revised Second Amendment to the Consulting Services Agreement with MIG, Inc. for the New Park at Linden and Pine Project (Project No. pk2305), establishing a total Council authorization of $658,014.

WHEREAS, on October 11, 2023, the City Council approved a Consulting Services Agreement with MIG, Inc. of Berkeley, California ("Consultant") in the amount of $526,920 and authorized a contingency of $52,692 for the New Park at Linden and Pine Project pursuant to Resolution No. 23-815; and

WHEREAS, the Consultant has satisfactorily performed professional landscape architecture, design, community engagement, and construction administration services for the Project; and

WHEREAS, additional services were required to support traffic analysis, restroom infrastructure design, utility coordination, and construction document revisions necessary to advance the Project; and

WHEREAS, on April 8, 2026, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 28-2026 approving a Second Amendment to the Consulting Services Agreement with Consultant in the amount of $65,335 and extending the contract term to December 31, 2027; and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 28-2026 inadvertently omitted the original Council-authorized contingency amount of $52,692 when stating the total authorized contract amount; and

WHEREAS, the correct total Council authorization, including all previously approved contract amounts and contingencies, is $658,014; and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 28-2026 should be rescinded and replaced with a corrected resolution.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco hereby rescinds Resolution No. 28-2026 in its entirety.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council approves a Second Amendment to the Consulting Services Agreement with MIG, Inc. in the amount of $65,335 and attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A, and authorizes a contingency of $13,067 for the ...
