Resolution approving the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and other related miscellaneous reports for Fiscal Year 2023-24.

WHEREAS, the Government Accounting Standards Board Statement 34 (GASB 34) requires the City of South San Francisco to provide an overview of its financial activities for the fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco publishes an Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), which includes its Basic Financial Statements as defined in Governmental Accounting Standards, as well as Supplementary Information, and other related Miscellaneous report for Fiscal Year 2023-24; and
WHEREAS, the City’s independent auditor opined that that the City’s financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, the City’s financial position as of year ended June 30, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the auditor has, as part of its most recently completed audit, prepared a letter to the City Council, also known as the Auditors’ Required Communications Letter and Independent Auditors’ Memorandum on Internal Control, outlining the scope of the audit review and findings, if any.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council accepts the attached results of the attached ACFR and other related Miscellaneous reports for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024.
