Resolution accepting a $10,000 grant from Genentech towards the 2026 South San Francisco Lunar New Year Night Market, and approving Budget Amendment Number 26.033 appropriating the funds.
Body
WHEREAS, the City applied to the 2025 Genentech South San Francisco Civic Fund to continue with a second night market event downtown to assist with revitalization efforts; and
WHEREAS, the City was awarded a $10,000 grant to implement a 2026 South San Francisco Lunar New Year Night Market using the Genentech South San Francisco Civic Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby takes the following actions:
1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct and incorporated herein as part of this Resolution; and
2. Accepts a $10,000 grant from Genentech from the Genentech South San Francisco Civic Fund with the purposes of implementing the 2026 South San Francsico Lunar New Year Night Market; and
3. Approves Budget Amendment Number 26.033, appropriating the grant funds; and
4. Authorizes the Director of Finance to take all necessary budgetary actions to carry out the intent of this Resolution; and
5. Authorizes the City Manager to take any other related actions necessary to carry out the intent of this Resolution.
