RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

It is recommended that the City Council Harbor District Liaison Standing Committee receive an update on the Oyster Point Marina Sewer Pump Station and Spit Flood Protection Improvements.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

Part and parcel to the 2018 Memorandum of Understanding, staff from the City of South San Francisco Public Works Department Engineering Division will provide an update on the Oyster Point Marina Sewer Pump Station and Spit Flood Protection Improvements. The presentation is included as Attachment 1.

 

FISCAL IMPACT

The Oyster Point Marina Sewer Pump Station is fully funded through construction via the fiscal year 2025-26 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The Spit Flood Protection Improvements are only funded through the design phase. The City will need to identify funding sources to bring the Spit Flood Protection Improvements to fruition.

 

RELATIONSHIP TO STRATEGIC PLAN

The Oyster Point Marina Sewer Pump Station and Spit Flood Protection Improvements are in support of the Quality of Life major focus area from the City Council’s fiscal year 2025-26 Action Plan.

 

CONCLUSION

Providing an update on the Oyster Point Marina Sewer Pump Station and Spit Flood Protection Improvements ensures that the City Council Harbor District Liaison Standing Committee remains informed about important Oyster Point infrastructure.
