RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
It is recommended that commissioners review the presentations and accomplishments of 2025 to set the foundation of a presentation to the South San Francisco City Council.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The last update to the City Council of South San Francisco was in December of 2024. At the October 20 commission meeting, commissioners motioned and approved the creation of an ad hoc committee that would develop and eventually present an update of the commission’s progress over the past year (2025) at a future South San Francisco City Council meeting. Members of the ad hoc committee have not been determined, however, updates at SSF City Council meetings are traditionally presented from commission chairs and/or vice chairs. The purpose of this conversation will be to confirm the content of a future update that will likely be presented at a January City Council meeting. Possible content can include the following:
• Received Annual Military Equipment Report from PD (March)
• Childcare Master Plan (April)
• Childcare Enrollment Capacity Update (May)
• IOS from April and May Update (June)
• Flash Vote Survey (June-July)
• LifeMoves Presentation (August)
• Retreat (September):
o Create more ad hoc committees
§ Communications/Data
§ Presentations
o Increase check-ins w/council
• Cultura Fest (October)
CONCLUSION
Commissioners will review the presentations and accomplishments of 2025 to set the foundation of a presentation to the South San Francisco City Council.
