Resolution authorizing the approval of Budget Amendment #23.073 to include Program Supplemental Agreement No. F028 with the State of California for the Bridge Preventive Maintenance Program (Project No. st1703) in an amount of $115,089 and remove Highway Bridge Program grant in an amount of $1,569,000 from the total budget; and authorizing the approval of Budget Amendment #23.075 to remove the $528,000 Highway Bridge Program grant from the total project budget for the Grand Avenue Overhead Structure at US 101 (Project No. st1804).

WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco ("City") staff applied for and, in 2019, accepted Program Supplemental Agreement No. F028 in the amount of $115,089 for the maintenance of seven bridges identified in the Caltrans Bridge Inspection Reports; and
WHEREAS, City staff identified Highway Bridge Program grants that did not exist in the amount of $1,569,000 for the Bridge Preventive Maintenance Program (st1703) following consultation with Caltrans, yet appeared in past Capital Improvement Program outlook budgets; and
WHEREAS, City staff identified Highway Bridge Program grants that did not exist in the amount of $528,000 for the Grand Avenue Overhead Structure at US 101 (st1804) following consultation with Caltrans, yet appeared in past Capital Improvement Program outlook budgets; and
WHEREAS, Budget Amendment #23.073 shall amend the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Operating Budget to reflect the addition of $115,089 for the Bridge Preventative Maintenance Program and removal of $1,569,000 from the Operating Budget; and
WHEREAS, Budget Amendment #23.075 shall amend the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Operating Budget to reflect the removal of $528,000 for the Grand Avenue Overhead Structure at US 101 from the Operating Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of South San Francisco, that the City hereby adds $115,089 to the Bridge Preventive Maintenance Program (Project No. st1703) to reflect the accepted $115,...
